I thought that the Did You Know? YouTube video was a way to show everyone what the possibilities of the future are. It states that if computers continue to improve t and the technological uses are to sky rocket as they recently have, there could be the possibility that the computers will be smarter than the human race and begin to take over. our lives will be run my technology that we have built. we will become more dependant on our resources and less dependant on brain power.
The video, Did You Know 2.0?, made me realize how much the world is being computerized. There is a movie called Wall-e, and it shows us that humans are depending on technology way too much. The people weren't walking around and having fun but instead were sitting and talking all day long. The YouTube video and the movie Wall-e carry the same message...we humans are relying on technology too much and it isn't healthy. And I believe that computers will be smarter than the human brain, and it will be too late to do anything when they are.
After I watched the video, Did you know 2.0? I realised that humans rely too much on technology. I think computers and other electronics are very helpful to do many things in the world today, although most people rely on electronics way too much, I know I do =/. One thing I dont understand is how the video said that one day computers will be smarter than the human brain, how can a computer be smater if a human created it??
The YouTube video, Did You Know 2.0, made me realize how fast the world is changing. It says in 2013 a supercomputers computation abilities will exceed the human brain. In the future the human race will solely depend on computers and technology. The video also made me think about how students in countries like India and China are being educated better for the future than U.S. students, and how the English language is becoming more and more popular in both countries.
The video Did you know 2.0? kind of opened my eyes to how much the human race really depends on technology. Everyday more and more information is being found, technology continues to improve. I wouldnt doubt that the computer will one day be smarter than humans, and its a little scary.
I thought that the Did You Know? movie was very powerful and moving. It really showed you what reality is looking like right now. It is all computerized and is growing! I mean there could be a country filled with all the myspace and facebook users! That is intense. We need to get off the computer, which is ironic because we are on it right now, and use our brain power. Look in books, encyclopedia's! Yes, the computer is very resourceful, but it seems as though it is taking over our lives. Who knows what there will be once our children have children! Computers are amazing but humans are way more powerful, even if it doesn't seem like we are. We build the computers for pete sake! At least one person in the world will know the answer to any question. Lets just not make a computer that will take over what human think and how they live.

Although the view points are different for people, I believe the world is increasingly leaning on computers, cell phones, and the internet. The way of the future is great but can we afford to live without it?
The Did You Know? video was kind of eye opening, because I didnt know that computers and technology were taking such a lead role in our lives. Also, it was a good point that computers could easily become smarter then humans. It's kind of scary to think about that happening, especially since computers are something created by humans. i think people should start doing something to keep up with technology.

I also think that it's great that kids in rural countries are getting modern technology such as computers to be connected to the world as we are.
